YOUNG men in Gloucestershire have been saved from street life by starring in a gritty 21st century adaptation of Macbeth. The experimental production, funded by Arts Council England, South West, tours for seven weeks, and has rejuvenated the misfit pasts of twodisadvantaged 17-year-olds.
The production of Shakespeare’s classic tale of treachery and misguided ambition supports Arts Council England, South West’s commitment to make the arts more accessible.
